Fantastic venue and accommodating team

We recently held our local team conference and team building day at 9Karapiro Rd, what a fantastic venue and pleasure Ian and his team are to deal with. The facilities and location gave it a remote feel which added to the team building experience. Ian and his team were relaxed and very accommodating and we hope to be back again.

9 Karapiro Road – A Great Place to Stay and Work

We have been using 9 Karapiro Road, Cambridge for training and events for a number of years.  It’s close proximity to the main highway make it easy to get to, however it's clever design layout makes you feel like you’re well out in the countryside.

Whether it’s accommodation for a small or large group, or a location to hold your work conference or wedding, 9 Karapiro Road ticks all the boxes.  Honestly it has to be seen to be believed.

Accommodation on-site is an added bonus – you can choose to be self-sufficient or include catering in your booking, but be assured whatever you choose your hosts will do everything in their power to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

Base camp for Canoe and Kayak Coaches and Athletes from Taiwan

I used 9 Karapiro Road as a base from which to run a coach development programme for a group of kayak and canoe coaches and athletes from Taiwan.  The close proximity of  9 Karapiro Road to Lake Karapiro and the hospitality of the owners was outstanding. Ian and Judy were fabulous hosts and were able to accommodate our requests for full board and vegetarian options.

Staying at 9 Karapiro Road was like being hosted on a farm stay, whilst being surrounded by native bush. The relaxed nature of Ian and Judy, along with the mostly communal accommodation, provided an ideal environment for working with a group.  I would definitely recommend 9 Karapiro Road as a place to stay, whether it is for a professional development retreat, using Lake Karapiro for training/competition or even as a place to stay for large family groups.  I hope to stay 9 Karapiro Road again in the near future.

Nothing is ever a problem at 9 Karapiro Road!

The Wanganui Collegiate School Rowing squad absolutely love our stays at 9 Karapiro Rd. Ian and family are so welcoming, nothing is ever a problem. The facilities and accommodation are perfect for a large group of active young adults. Especially the proximity to Lake Karapiro. Another highlight are Ian's evening meals, superb, fresh, nutritious and of hearty proportions. Ian is always willing to adjust to any dietary needs.
